[SFD-discuss] Just under 3 weeks to go!

Hi all,

Software Freedom Day is just around the corner! With just under 3 weeks to
go you should all be well underway with your planning and promotion of
events. We have almost 400 teams all around the world also preparing and
getting ready for their events, so make sure you get posters up, information
about your events on the radio and in local media, and your websites up to
date! Please ensure your wiki page is either updated or linked to a website
you have up to date.

We will be running the best event competition again, and when you complete
your reports after the event you'll be ale to simply tick a "include me in
the competition" checkbox to be in the running for some great prizes
including OLPC XOs. Details will be up within the week about the specifics
of the competition.

Remember, there is a start guide available on the website to help with tips
and tricks about events planning, and ensure your volunteers all have a
wonderful day, because the more they are enjoying themselves, the more
inspirational and informative they can be for the mainstream we are all
trying to reach :)
