[SFD-discuss] San Lorenzo Valley, California, gears up for 2008

Hi, all --

Last year, we celebrated Software Freedom Day in Felton, California
(in the San Lorenzo Valley in Santa Cruz County), and we are getting
ready for the 2008 event.

Prior to that, though, Felton will be observing Lindependence 2008, an
event where people in the town will have the option from July 4
(Independence Day in the U.S.) to July 11 to use GNU/Linux distros and
FOSS programs. More information on Lindependence 2008 can be found

[Yes, that's a little long for a Web address -- our new site should be
up in the next few days.]

All of which is to say that we should be cruising into September with
an interested group of folks who will be new Linux users.
