[SFD-discuss] What does "Software Freedom" mean?

Yes, it's correct. The word 'free' is a bit ambiguous in English. In Spanish
on the other hand 'Libre' is 'free as in free speech' while 'Gratis' is
'free as in free beer'. The literal translation of 'Software Freedom Day' in
Spanish would be 'Día de la libertad del software' but it sounds strange. I
prefer to translate it as 'Día del software libre' or 'Free (as in speech)
Software Day'.
