Hello all,
Just to let you all know how things are going in London...
http://gllug.org.uk/index.php?/archives/23-Software-Freedom-Day.html
http://lists.gllug.org.uk/pipermail/gllug/2006-September/062468.html
The plan is:
* Meeting in Regents Park at midday
* Walking from Regents Park to Westminster University along one of the
major shopping streets (Tottenham Court Road). Along the way we are
going to spread love, hugs and the good word about Free Software (as
well as leaflets and Ubuntu CDs)
* A technical meeting at Westminster University with 4 speakers. We are
lucky enough to have one speaker from Canonical, one from Red Hat and 2
volunteers from the LUG itself
* We have a function room booked in a nearby pub for celebrations
afterwards.
It's going to be awesome - I'm really looking forward to it.
